# Slippi First Run Checklist

- Install or update Slippi Dolphin through the official Slippi Launcher.
- Use your own unmodified NTSC 1.02 Melee image.
- In the graphics UI set Vulkan, fullscreen, 4:3, 2x internal resolution, and V-Sync off.
- Set replay storage to `/home/couch/Slippi`.
- Confirm gameplay on HDMI-1 at `1920x1080@60` before attempting any refresh-rate changes.
- If direct launch is unreliable, configure and validate the launcher shortcut fallback from `config/couchd.example.json`.
